Details: This position is a global management position. It manages teams within inbound and/or outbound marketing function in US, China and Europe. The focus is delivering marketing include strategy development, applied technology roadmaps, competitive assessment, product roadmaps and master pricing that keep the Automation business as a world class provider. The Primary responsibilities for outbound marketing include promotion, demand generation, increasing awareness and preference. A key responsibility is leading and developing associates within strategic, product or program marketing. RESPONSIBILITIES:Manages employees from multiple departments within the marketing job family across the globe Has P+L responsibility Delegates activities and tasks to subordinate managers directly managing professional staff Recognized internally as a thought leader within area of expertise Works on complex problems across area of expertise; outcomes impact near term results of the PL/ BU (e.g., 1 to 2 years) Participates in developing staffing plans and organization structures Creates a climate where direct reports can optimize performance, learn and grow; performance issues are addressed effectively and consistent with contributions Participates in strategy development for function/PL and/or BU Monitors progress to plan and takes corrective action to ensure results are achieved Erroneous decisions have a near-term effect (e.g., 1 to 2 years) on the delivery of results Represents the department/ function internally and/ or with customers with peer level positions and/ or executives Impacts thinking of others by applying technical expertise outside area of expertise Leads strategic and tactical projects within the stretch goals identified to drive the business forward
