Regional Sales Manager

Details: Position SummaryThis position is responsible for increased volume of sales in dollars for his/her assigned territory.  Must be able to work in a team setting to complete tasks.  Will conduct training meetings and product seminars with customers, distributors, and representative sales personnel on product and new merchandise.   Interacting with customers, distributors, representatives, vendors and other employees will be a necessity.  Must be willing to learn and want the next level in his/her career. Essential Functions and Primary Duties and Responsibilities Representing the company and management in a professional manner Perform administrative functions Develops quotations and order closings Train others in all products (new and old) Must make calls on customers and engineering firms Must be able to work with, train and assist in hiring new reps Perform expediting Develop product and sales forecasting and assist in marketing research Lead follow-up Other Duties Maybe required to setup Meriam booths and be a trade show participant Must be able to travel and plan his/her travel to produce the greatest result Must be able to budget his/her expenses All other duties assigned
