Keys to Success:Most essential for success in this role is to maintain a great team attitude, demonstrate passion for your work, and the willingness to learn.Analyzes work orders to estimate technician hours and create production schedules that meet both internal and external needs. Utilizes Root Cause Analysis tools to drive out line losses Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.Directs and supervises activities.Collaborates with manager of preventative maintenance to schedule activities.Completes reports for production numbers, down time, attendance, overtime and quality checks and submits to Production Manager.Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.Participate in interviews with hiring managers.Trains, coaches and reviews performance of employees. Works with HR for employee discipline issues, terminations and recruitment.Participates in safety team activities. Monitors and enforces safety requirements.Conducts weekly safety talk trainings, daily safety/quality/production meetings, and hourly safety walks.Builds a positive work environment.Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.Use data to support all recommendations to improve line efficiencySuggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.Maintains time and production records.Develops capital equipment justification for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost and cycle times.Estimates, requisitions and inspects materials.Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.High school diploma or GED required BS in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Food Science preferred3+ years of experience in high speed bottlingExperience commissioning new equipmentStart-up experience preferred.Experience with TPM in a food/bev environment2+ years supervisory experienceUnderstanding of production processes and controlsAbility to work well under pressure in fast paced environmentStrong organization and planning skills with ability to multi task Ability to work efficiently as well as safely Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with OEM's, corporate personnel, and site leadershipStrong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel Preferred Skills Mechanical skills and experienceDocumented leadership and coaching skills with a consistenttrack record of continuous improvement in a flagship or greenfield food andbeverage manufacturing environment.Knowledge and experience with thermal processing, batching, and CIP systemsExperience with change managementOracleBi-lingual in English and Spanish Supervisory Responsibilities Interviewing, hiring, and training Planning, assigning and directing work Appraising performance Rewarding and disciplining employeesAddressing complaints and resolving problems
