Details: Our client, a small chemical manufacturer, is seeking a Plant Manager for their facility near Middletown, New York. This Plant Manager is responsible for production of the products as required, maintenance of manufacturing, development of the supply chain, procurement of materials required for production, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities, Goals and Main Tasks: Planning long-term measures to handle all production, shipping and maintenance functions Regulatory compliance Planning of new facilities for production Promoting education and training in modern supply chain methodologies Special projects Procurement of raw materials and commodities, packaging materials, and operating tools Recording and management of supplier data in the ERP system Establish and maintain the raw materials and containers in the ERP system Responsible for raw material supplies to other facilities Maintain contact with suppliers Responsible for supplier evaluation Monitoring of safety measures Responsible for building, grounds, maintenance, vehicles, equipment, and production facilities Production responsibility for chemical production
