Details: PRODUCTION SUPERVISORMy client, a leading manufacturer of float glass and fabricated glass products is seeking Production Supervisors with strong interpersonal skills, proven record of success and are committed to excellence. The facility is located in the Charlotte, NC/Columbia, SC region. The Production Supervisor will report to the Plant Manager and be responsible for the supervision and coordination of all employees on their rotating shift. As a key member of the manufacturing team, the Production Supervisor will prepare work schedules, assign work and monitor accomplishment of the work to provide support to achieve the goals established for the manufacturing process. Responsibilities Supervise employees by providing training, safe working conditions, necessary tools and equipment to meet customer requirements within budget. Leading employees in safety, productivity, efficiency, process improvement and quality. Leading rotating shift schedule and supervise production and maintenance personnel daily activities. Achieve manufacturing excellence by establishing and communicating goals, coaching, evaluating performance and developing people. Provide support and direction for good manufacturing, housekeeping and safety standards. Provide technical training related to maintenance, process systems and safety standards.
