Details: Manpower is seeking Hot Heading/Forging Operators, experienced within the Aerospace Fastener industry-for an aerospace manufacturer of high strength specialty fasteners, including bolts, screws, studs, and pins. These products support the US Government, including the ISS, Space Shuttle, and the most demanding defense equipment. Candidates are required to operate a punch press with an induction heater to forge heads on high strength bolts and run forging press. Candidates are required to monitor temperature of punch press, feed bolt in and out of punch press with pliers. Ability to prepare set-up a plus!Minimum qualifications-Candidates must be able to read a micrometer and caliper. High School Graduate or equivalent, basic math, reading skills, and lifting up to 25lbs, and 40lbs with dollies. Must also be eligible to work within the United States.Candidates must have a good attitude and be willing to learn.
