This position involves being a “hands-on” leader with production team members and cross functional project teams to execute results. Key responsibilities of this individual are:Champion data driven decisions to achieve cost reduction, problem solutions, and continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma tools.Investigate new assembly processes, tooling methods, machine tool innovations, and testing techniques to continuously improve process quality and production efficiencies.Specify, support, and troubleshoot necessary tooling, fixtures, equipment, documentation, and related training as required to maintain plant production and testing operations.Review and evaluate new product designs and major product changes for feasibility and impact to processes, tooling, testing, and quality.For major capital investments, prepare feasibility and ROI analyses, submit requests for expenditure, and lead implementation and pre-production runoff activities.
