Details: This international industry leader has an immediate 3+ month contract opening in Arlington, TX for an Infrastructure Operations and Service Support Analyst. Will be responsible for the deployment and management of platforms to ensure operational continuity, availability, recoverability, performance and capacity in compliance with Service Level Agreements. This includes testing, deployment, administration, and restoration of service for Infrastructure and application solutions. Will be responsible for the creation of the daily Transportation network optimization solutions. Using Transportation optimization technology, this role owns the planning and execution of the Network Optimization business process from origination of orders through final tender to the assigned carrier. Duties include: 1. Insure daily Transportation plans created can be successfully executed by field sites providing the service and productivity levels needed. 2. Resolve optimization issues driven by order changes and ship date delays. Work closely with field personnel to determine resolution. Work with the Network Enabler and Technical Development teams to improve solution or technology solution quality 3. Work with the field to resolve daily execution issues that arise. Support the field by insuring emergency shipments are managed in a timely manner and meet service expectations 4. Manage the order feed processes to the Transportation Management System including those generated by various Order Management Systems and those manually entered. Collaborate with peers (Network Coordinators) to balance daily workloads and support the business. 5. Produce/review various performance reports to drive results . Details: Duties:This individual will focus on supporting IVR applications within the Call Application Solution Group. The position requires providing 24X7 application support and carrying a pager or BB on a rotation basis. The Application Development Specialist is expected to have a good understanding of the business, be able to promptly field and report production issues (pages/alerts/tickets/user request) and quickly follow through on issues by performing tier-1 troubleshooting and analysis, as part of timely remediation and resolution. Suggesting quick workarounds, being sensitive to business user's sense of urgency and proactive behavior is critical to success in this role. The Call IT Production Support team strives for service excellence by complying with defined business SLA that focuses on application availability, minimizing service disruption, zero outages and overall systems health and stability. The candidate must have successful experience working with external & internal partners, cross functional groups and vendors. Advocate proactive measures to prevent issue recurrence (monitoring), focus on documentation and processes and take initiatives to automate, where applicable.
