Gas Turbine Project Manager

Details: System One is currently seeking a Senior Gas Turbine Project Manager for one of our OEM clients.  This is a full time direct position will be based in Florida.  The Project Manager is responsible to manage execution of the turbine project’s scope to maximize the results of the project with respect to cash and margin, delivering the project on time and meeting the contract and managing customer expectations.  The position will be the single point contact to the customer for all aspects of contract administration.  Project ManagerReports To: Sr. Manager, Project ManagementEssential Duties and Responsibilities Project Execution Strategy: Develops and implements, with commercial management, the strategy for the execution of the project scope in order to achieve the project performance and cost goals. Communication: Provides adequate reporting to all stakeholders such as customer, business partners and management. Project Process: Assumes full responsibility for the delivery of the project scope, from Sale Hand Over until all obligations are complete. Takes necessary actions to improve the project process. Project Organization: Develops and secures the necessary resources for the execution of the project. Performance Management: Constantly monitors and reports the necessary key performances indicators (KPI). Takes immediately all necessary actions and decisions to guarantee financial, time, quality and safety performance to maximize the allocated project(s) scope’s goals achievements. Quality & Safety: Ensure Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety requirements are applied and ensures compliance. Claim Management: Addresses claims by deciding on actions and leading them in consideration of the defined strategy. Immediately informs Management of any impact on the overall performance of the Project. Risk and Opportunities: Constantly updates and reviews the risk and opportunities of the Project.
